As a nature lover and all round decent human, sustainability is something that's really important to me within my small business and is something I am constantly trying to improve.

Jewellery Boxes: I use eco boxes made from FSC certifies cardboard and water-based glue. They are fully recyclable. 

The foam inserts currently cannot be recycled but the made without the use of crude oil. Instead, they are made from Tall Oil, a by-product from paper production.

Business Cards: Printed uncoated paper.  FSC certified.  ECF bleached. Virgin Fibre.  Fully Recyclable.

Outer Packaging: Orders are sent out in fully recyclable cardboard boxes with tissue paper and paper tape.

I never buy bubble wrap, bubble envelopes, packing peanuts or similar plastic packaging.  If you ever receive an order from me containing packaging like this, it is definitely something I have reused and I encourage you to re-use it again.

Materials: My wooden jewellery is made using fast-growing more sustainable species of trees like Birch and Walnut.  These types of woods are removed at their rate of growth, meaning the woodlands will retain their supply.

Plant a Tree:

Most of my jewellery is made from wood so it is important to me to play a role in preserving the planets trees, forests and woodlands.  From June 2022 I have committed to planting a tree for every order through Ecologi.
